Douglas Baker

About Douglas

I build useful software with AI. I choose the problem, shape the product, and work with coding agents on design, implementation, testing, and release preparation.

That work includes local dictation in Liptyper, continuous music discovery in EavesJam, and photo-assisted household decisions in CullHaus. I care about the small details that make a tool clear and useful in everyday life.

Before this, I led new-hire Vehicle Operator training at Tesla and helped develop its classroom curriculum. I also worked in catastrophe operations, political advance, and live events. Those jobs shaped how I explain complex systems and work through changing conditions.

How I build

Product direction

Start with a real task. Make the controls clear, reduce repeated steps, and leave a way to recover when something fails.

Building with AI

I use coding agents to carry the build forward, with product direction, design review, and testing tied to the intended use.

Evidence you can inspect

The work links to product pages, demos, release records, and source where available. Private builds are labeled clearly.
